This particular electronic publication is geared towards vintage furniture dealers, appraisers, and others who are interested in learning more about the high boy chests that Kling Factories manufactured from the mid-1930’s to1962. Since many of these pieces are not marked with a metal Kling marker and high boys are among the most collectible of all Kling Furniture produced, there is valuable information in this electronic publication about other identifying characteristics of these Kling pieces. This is our complete body of knowledge and documentation on highboys as of the date of this publication. We discuss current value of Highboys only in very general terms. From the pricelists and sales literature in our archives we have identified over fifty different “numbers” of high boys offered between 1937 and 1962, and placed this information in a table. There are ten different high boy numbers pictured and a total of 20 images, as well as four dated wholesale prices to aid in understanding and identifying this furniture.
